The National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) held their annual convention June 22-25 in New Orleans, celebrating the 195th anniversary of the Black Press of America. The organization serves over 200 African American-owned newspapers and media companies throughout the United States, providing a sense of community to the Black community and place for voices to be heard.
