On Friday evening, April 22, 2022, Avenue of the Arts, Inc., the organization that champions investment in Philadelphia’s theater and cultural arts district on South Broad Street, presented its third Annual Avenue of the Arts, Inc. Visionary Awards to Joan Myers Brown, the founder/Executive Advisor and retired artistic director of PHILADANCO!, and Christine Cox, the co-founder and Artistic and Executive Director of BalletX. The event took place at the newest condo building in Center City Arthaus a 40 story residence on Broad street.
