Members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., founded in 1906, celebrate their 112th anniversary founder’s day gala presented by the Alpha House, Inc. at the City Line Avenue Hilton on Saturday, December 1, 2018. According the fraternity’s website, Alpha Phi Alpha was “the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American men and was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of brotherhood among African descendants in this country.” PHOTOS: Marissa Weekes Mason
